Associate Director Research and Instructional Services
The candidate will be responsible for providing research and instruction that serves faculty, students, staff, and the educational programs of the Law School. Responsible for directing research activities and coordinating research instruction for the Law Library’s clients, which include faculty, students, and staff of the Law School and other programs taught at the DTC. Other clientele include alumni and members of the general public. Provide research, often now in the form of competitive intelligence and data analytics, to assist the Law School in student and faculty recruitment. Also develop tools to assist faculty with research in a wide variety of law and social science subjects, and with marketing their scholarly work. Supervise one Research/Instr. Services Librarian. Work with other professionals, including the Educational Technologist and the Technology Training and Marketing Librarian, to market the Law Library’s services to all clientele, and to assist in teaching technology and tools to all priority clientele. Must have MLS degree from an ALA-accredited graduate program and JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Should preferably have State Bar admission (any state). Knowledge of web content management systems such as LibGuides, WordPress; course management systems (e.g., TWEN; and Blackboard) is required. Familiarity with tutorial production software and general video production software is needed.
