Family Law Paralegal

Profile

We are a growing law firm in need of a full-time paralegal with excellent interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, proactive, and committed to helping us meet our clients' needs. Prior experience in family law is preferred. The job description includes:

• Preparing pleadings, orders, correspondence, and other documents (e.g., debt and asset lists, witness affidavits, child support worksheets, responsive pleadings, etc.);
• Filing pleadings;
• Maintaining attorney calendars and case files;
• Scheduling appointments, court appearances, and mediation/deposition hearings;
• Serving as a liaison between the client and attorney;
• Preparing trial notebooks and providing assistance in trial settings; and
• Preparing and reviewing discovery packages, including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories, and production requests.
