Senior Paralegal
The candidate draft documents and prepare forms to document the transactions of the various business areas of the Company. Submit all materials in a timely manner to customers or appropriate regulatory agency as required to ensure transactions are substantiated to best represent **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s interest from a legal perspective. Update business contacts and supervising Legal Counsel on the status of projects. Elicit information, negotiate terms and draft documents as directed by Counsel. Follow transactions through to completion. Organize projects and develop systems to assist Counsel in meeting customer requirements. Create and maintain databases for departmental and Company use. Correspond with internal and external parties to follow-up on assignments in a well-prioritized manner. Assist Counsel in collecting and organizing documents for specific transactions as necessary. Become knowledgeable in all paralegal area responsibilities to effectively complete additional projects as assigned by Counsel. Will research, negotiate and prepare various documents to ensure an accurate and advantageous legal perspective is always presented. Will also assist Legal Counsel to ensure that all Company and internal business contacts requirements are met in regard to Corporate and independent stores, distribution centers and the Company's corporate headquarters. Experience Required: 5 years current experience as a paralegal in a corporate legal department in contracts, labor and employment and/or corporate. Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or Licensing Required: Paralegal certificate and/or college degree or equivalent work experience.
