This position will report to the Senior Counsel, Supply Chain & Facilities/Engineering Law in providing comprehensive legal advice and legal partnering on different type of matters, including regulatory, compliance and transactional matters associated with supply chain, facilities and engineering issues. Responsibilities will also include legal training to clients on contracting practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing legal advice to the Global Supply Chain, Facilities and Engineering senior leaders, and support with outside counsel, as needed.

-Provide strategic legal advice across a diverse range of product categories, including pharmaceuticals, cell therapy, biologics and medical devices.

Familiarity with supply chain, facilities and engineering related transactions

Superior ability to analyze, structure and negotiate all elements of transactions and strong drafting skills are required.

-Possess strong business acumen and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision.

-Must have excellent interpersonal and legal skills and be able to identify and resolve critical legal issues. Excellent verbal and writing skills and business judgment are required, as well as a collaborative work style. Must have high integrity, ability to assess risk, ability to make decisions and think strategically, command respect, knowledge of applicable legal issues, and a strong work ethic.

-Actively contributes to the team through participation in discussions, sharing best practices, collaboration on projects, training, among others.

Qualifications:

Law degree from top tier school with all bar admissions in good

standing is required. Preferable if it is qualified to practice law in New Jersey.

-Three or more years post qualification experience in a legal role, preferably in a major law firm, or corporation.

-Understanding of health care industry.

-Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

-A positive attitude and the skills to work across business functions and cultures

with teams located in multiple time zones and to act independently in a

fast-paced environment is required.

Ability for moderate travel within the U. S. and occasionally outside the U. S. is

Required.
