The candidate negotiates and drafts various types of vendor agreements, including software licensing, technology, outsourcing, professional services, marketing, recruitment, and travel-related vendor agreements. Main legal contact for the S&P Global’s global Procurement function. Works closely with senior management on vendor governance, including compliance with applicable policies and laws. Assists Procurement organization in the development of vendor governance policies and risk mitigation strategies in dealing with vendors. Participates in vendor governance and other applicable steering committees. Negotiates privacy and data protection aspects of agreements. Collaborates closely with other functional groups supporting the procurement function, including Privacy, Information Security, Regulatory, Compliance and Insurance as necessary. Provides SME expertise to assist divisional lawyers who negotiate vendor agreements. Provides legal assistance on contract disputes and other contractual matters arising from vendor agreements. Maintains and updates S&P Global’s standard form template agreements, such as consulting agreements, professional services agreements, NDAs, and SOWs.
