Department Profile The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Primary Responsibilities: The Product Control team within Commodities supports core businesses such as Power and Gas, Oil and Liquids. The team works with the trading desk and other support areas (Credit, Operations, IT & Legal) to analyze, consult and report on new and existing businesses. This is a role that requires an analytical approach to understanding the risks associated with controlling and properly accounting for the business. Responsibilities include: �?• Production of month-end close processes for the Commodities business �?• Work closely with Sales & Trading, Risk Management, Technology, Operations and other Controllers on a day-to-day basis to ensure accurate P&L reporting and analysis. �?• Distribute Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting to traders and business management on daily, weekly and monthly basis. �?• Attribution of P&L as transactional, carry, or other market-based portfolio effects. �?• Complete monthly Net Revenue reconciliation identifying the differences between our General Ledger and the P&L reporting systems. �?• Producing commentary and required substantiation documentation. �?• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed for the Business Unit and Finance ManagementQualifications Skills Required: �?• Bachelorâ�?��?�s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field 4-6 years professional experience, Commodities experience is a plus �?• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels �?• Outstanding attention to detail and follow up �?• Excellent organizational skills �?• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment �?• Strong analytical and technical skills including Excel and PowerPointRequisition #: 3117149,
