The candidate will provide strategic legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action to accomplish their goals. Handle all aspects of the trademark process, from conducting comprehensive searches, drafting opinion letters with clear recommendations; preparing, filing, overseeing applications, and communicating timely and effectively with clients from start to finish. Stay informed of changes in applicable laws and USPTO procedures to make sure you're paying attention: at the top of your resume, include an asterisk before and after your name (for example: *Shraybman Law*). As we grow, collaborate with the CEO and the team to implement more efficiency, and train and manage trademark assistants and/or paralegals to support your work. Should have 4 years of experience. A dedicated workspace for remote work, where calls with clients can be taken in a quiet and professional setting. Clearly and concisely communicate facts and recommendations. Ability to work independently, think critically, and work in a collaborative environment. Time management skills, particularly the ability to eliminate distractions, identify priorities, and work with intention toward realistic goals. Ability to learn new systems quickly and use online technology including Google suite, Dropbox, Clio. Willing to receive candid feedback and open to constructive criticism; and confident enough to provide the same to management to ensure are supported in role.
