A law firm in Portland, OR, is seeking a Mid- to Senior-level Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience. The ideal candidate for this role will bring a wealth of experience in employment litigation and other employment-related matters. Strong writing skills and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. In this position, the practice will primarily focus on employment litigation, covering single plaintiff and class action cases, as well as arbitrations. Additionally, the role involves providing comprehensive support for various employment issues, including keeping clients informed about emerging employment law matters through drafting client advisories and alerts.

Duties:

• Handle employment litigation cases, encompassing single plaintiff, class action, and arbitration matters.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on a wide range of employment-related issues.
• Draft client advisories and alerts to keep clients informed about emerging employment law developments.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation and advisory work.
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies for managing employment-related challenges.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of legal experience with a strong emphasis on employment litigation.
• Proficient writing skills for drafting legal documents, advisories, and alerts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the state Bar association.

Skills:

• Extensive experience in employment litigation.
