(BNC), Global Technical Service is currentl yseeking an Outreach Program Coordinator, to work with our government client at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), MD. This position interacts with a wide range of program staff, DoD and military personnel. In addition, the Outreach Program Coordinator will have front line contacts with internal and external customers requiring active problem solving and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
MUST HAVE ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
Coordinates day-to-day operations of ARL outreach program.
Coordinates internal communications, encouraging information and knowledge transfer across groups.
Develops linkages with Federal and Non Federal Agencies that provide Science and Technology interface.
Coordinates target population’s access to ARL services.
Assists with the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) program.
Advocates for specific needs of client populations and initiates outreach to the target population using telephone, mail and visits in the community.
Coordinates and integrates activities inside and outside the organization.
Provides input to program plans providing best of current successful projects to stimulate development and improvement of programs.
Provides expert presentations and briefings on all aspects of outreach activities.
Oversees implementation of program marketing plans to ensure an integrated communication strategy for the outreach program.
Monitors program progress toward organizational goals and makes suggestions to improved programs.
Stays abreast of all programs and presentations related to the outreach program.
Recommends new approaches designed to make the outreach program desirable to Federal and Non Federal Agencies.
Develops minimum standards to incorporate new services into existing programs.
Ensures safe environment for outreach program facility.
Promptly reports workplace accidents to the Safety Manager.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on professionalism and courtesy.
Assists internal and external customers and communicates positively in a professional manner.
Applies knowledge and understanding of current issues and trends in STEM education.
Collaborates with Harford County Public School (HCPS) personnel to schedule site visits.
Implements and models effective instruction.
Participates in ongoing curriculum revisions, enhancements and overall program evaluation.
Participates in the planning and delivery of professional development for attending teachers.
Assists HCPS with the identification and maintenance of needed supplies, equipment, equipment, and other materials of instruction.
Prepares each laboratory for instruction.
Coordinates the involvement of appropriate Army scientists and engineers to support instruction.
Identifies appropriate lab destinations for tours and interactive experiences with scientists and engineers.
Maintains regular communication with HCPS leadership to ensure program success.
Work schedule may fluctuate to complete work assignments outside of the typical work week and work hours. May travel to complete work assignments or attend conferences and meetings.

Job Requirements :
Required (Mandatory Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years of specialized experience in program coordination.
Four (4)years of specialized experience demonstrating the ability to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, monitoring programs, preparing and presenting technical information.
Working knowledge of the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) program.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent face to face and phone etiquette
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work well in a team setting
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to organize tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of employees including all levels of executive, management and staff.

Job is performed in a modern office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system.
