IT Counsel

Duties: Reviewing, drafting and negotiating technology-related sourcing agreements, as well as customer-facing, technology transactions, to include inbound and outbound technology licensing (hosted and non-hosted), outsourced managed technology services and professional technology services, and information security agreements. Providing trusted advisor support to IT personnel, non-IT business units procuring technologies or providing technology solutions to Company customers, as well as the technology sourcing team and cyber security/privacy experts. Contributing to the short and long-term courses of action that support the organization's overall vision and mission; balance business, technical, and operational issues when determining a strategy; incorporate knowledge of Company’s goals/strategy as well as competitive, customer, supplier, industry, or marketplace trends into strategic plans; capitalize on opportunities and manage risks. Applying knowledge necessary to frame, simplify and solve complex issues; focus on identifying root causes to create and communicate practical solutions in a timely and decisive manner. Ensuring compliance with the company’s legal, financial and risk management policies and procedures. Working closely with the IT sourcing and IT Security teams in developing template agreements and improving processes and policies that both protect and strengthen Company’s IT infrastructure.
