Tax Services Manager - Financial Services Organization - Customer Tax Operations Reporting - 1

The candidate will interface daily with superiors, peers and subordinates and clients on large and small CTOR projects. Interpreting IRS Code and Regulations, drafting guidance, data analyzation and requirements development that help clients translate and implement these rules. Conduct a gap analysis of the current state of clients' policies, procedures and systems and write business requirements. Part of a team that prepares documentation including presentations and flow charts. Support the development of innovative technology solutions, as well as train and manage staff located in remote delivery centers. Should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred. Should have 5+ years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience. Should be a licensed attorney, CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent certification or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation or have the ability to obtain one of these designations . Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB is needed. The ability to understand and implement tax rules is required. Should have the ability to read and interpret IRS Code, regulations and instructions. Strong writing skills for policy and procedure writing is a must. Should have the ability to interface with all facets of our business. Should have the ability to multitasking and project management capability. Creative problem solving, strong critical thinking is needed. Should have the ability to drive success as both an individual contributor and team member. Should have strong organizational skills and a proven record of multitasking and working effectively across multiple projects and deadlines. Should possess great communication and leadership skills and thrive in an exciting and growing team environment.
