As a Senior Account Specialist in our Washington, DC office, you will be a contributing member of the US Commercial Risk team. Not only will you manage key processes and internal activities to deliver client-facing services, but you will also collaborate directly with top leaders in the organization and have exposure to the movers and shakers in the industry. What will your day look like?Establish yourself as a subject matter expert as you assist with the processing of policy and related documentationDemonstrate your skills as you execute activities such as confirmation of new and renewal policies, recording of policy receipts and deliveries, verification of endorsements, collection and review of audits and dividends and order correctionsSpruce up your skills by becoming an authority on moderately to highly complex accounts as a brokerPick up knowledge of market and relationship management while flexing your negotiation skillsGather and analyze data and drafts, including assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentationChallenge yourself by undertaking new and stimulating projectsWhat skills will help you be successful in this role?Organizational and project management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with attention to detailCritical thinking skillsAbility to clearly express thoughts and concepts at various levelsExcellent computer skills, including working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Minimum 3 years P&C experience, with at least 5 years of experience preferredEducation:Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5 years of industry experienceActive Property & Casualty license must be maintained in order to properly service clientsWe offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
