Duties:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and other domestic relations matters.
• Manage a caseload of 25-35 active cases, handling each with limited supervision.
• Convert prospective client inquiries into signed engagements.
• Participate in a mentorship program during the first year to support professional development.
• Collaborate with a billing department, legal assistants, and receptionists for case management and client communication.
• Ensure all legal documentation is completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal counsel.
• Meet production and client acquisition goals to achieve professional growth and potential for partnership.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio and in good standing.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in handling family law cases (preferred).
• Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.
• Self-motivated with the desire to grow within a structured, goal-oriented environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Ohio State Bar License.

Skills:

• Family Law expertise, including divorce, child custody, and other domestic relations matters.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases efficiently.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Client relationship management and business development abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
