Medical Records Specialist

The candidate will be responsible for preparing requests for medical records through software systems, follow ups on all pending requests, contract with clients for information as needed to process the requests, on-line research to locate current contact information for providers as necessary, work closely with the litigation teams regarding their needs and priorities, promptly process any records received and provide timely updates to the litigation teams. Must be a medical records specialist with entry level law firm experience or medical experience. Should have 1-2 years of experience working in a professional environment. College degree is preferred.
