The candidate will be negotiating and drafting advertising, promotions, joint marketing, influencer, and sponsorship agreements. Developing legal strategy and providing advice and counsel to Marketing business partners. Counseling on day-to-day activities such as sweepstakes, contests, rebates, coupons, gift cards, email marketing, text message marketing, charitable marketing, advertising copy review, claim substantiation, and privacy compliance. Have demonstrated excellence in complex transactional legal work. Have familiarity with privacy, data protection, and advertising rules and regulations. Have experience representing advertisers and challengers before the national advertising industry’s self-regulatory dispute resolution forum including the NAD, CARU, etc. Have experience representing companies during advertising investigations by the Federal Trade Commission. Have demonstrated ability to move projects forward proactively by gaining support needed from stakeholders across the company and working in a cross-functional role. Law degree from an accredited law school and 5 years’ experience in law.
