Aon is looking for a Senior Contracts Drafter As part of Aon's Reinsurance Solutions team, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and finalizing formal documentation memorializing terms and conditions applicable to treaty reinsurance arrangements.  You will be challenged to learn and remain well informed of industry terms and jargon, as well as trends and regulations to remain competitive.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDraft and Review reinsurance contracts, attending documentation and related correspondenceAssist broker colleagues, clients and markets in addressing issues related to contract wordingDraft, revise and endorse London market documentation and submit for review and approvalReview expiring wording and new contract documents for completeness, accuracy and consistencyParticipate in marketing presentations to prospective and existing clientsCoordinate with broker colleagues to review contract termsContribute to maintenance of library of clausesMonitor statutory positions, regulatory guidelines, judicial decrees, current wording issues and industry trends affecting reinsurance contractsEnsure that general processing and quality of assigned accounts complies with team guidelinesMay include future supervising responsibilitiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 5 years of experience with reinsurance contractsExcellent written communication skills, including demonstrated/advanced competence in all facets of reading, writing and communicating in EnglishStrategic and analytical thinking, including basic math aptitude and applied problem solvingDetail orientedProficient with MS Office, including formatting paragraph styles and tables, tracking changes, adjusting page layout and using templates in MS WordAdaptable to other proprietary systems/applications as demonstrated by previous experience with other platformsNominal travel may be requiredMINIMUM EDUCATIONBachelors’ degree requiredAdvanced degree or industry-related professional designation is a plus We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.  Our Colleague Experience: From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
