The candidate will conduct research and contribute to emerging regulatory compliance projects related to new product launches. Advise internal business lines on regulatory obligations. Collaborate with global compliance teams to promote and ensure compliance with US regulatory obligations. Manage remediation plans for any external audits or regulatory exams. Conduct research regarding participation in high-risk industry verticals. Maintain existing regulatory processes and incorporate relevant regulatory changes. Should have 5+ years of experience in a product or regulatory counsel role or within a global institution or at a law firm. Working knowledge of the FinTech and/or payment industry and the relevant laws and regulations. An analytical thinker who can monitor and advise on relevant regulations required to ensure controlled and sustainable growth. A strong sense of initiative, self-motivation, and collaboration that will add value to a fast-growing business. Proven ability to interface and develop rapport with product teams.
