Responsible for leading and executing North American Life and Health’s claims modernization with broad responsibilities related to strategic planning and complex analysis.
The key accountabilities for the Claims Modernization Leader:
Drive all aspects of the claim’s modernization strategy and tactics: operational action planning, development and refinement of metrics and effective reporting
Lead all claim modernization activities related to analytics, actuarial analysis and modeling in coordination with LTC Chief and Managing Actuaries and Analytics team
Responsible for leading claims activity coordination between legal and operations as necessary regarding claims innovation
Lead preparation of forecasts and analysis pertaining to the impact of claims accuracy and modernization on financial results
Responsible for operational metrics tracking and financial reporting of claims modernization by coordinating between operations, actuarial, finance and other functional teams as necessary
Responsible for internal (NALH, GE Capital and GE) and external communication pertaining to claims modernization
Advise NALH senior leaders and other stakeholders on matters related to claims modernization
Utilize lean principles to create environment of continuous improvement throughout claims process
Identify key opportunities to partners with external vendors and ceding companies to drive claims modernization systems and process.
Develop/refine/operate due diligence review process on claims accuracy and modernization opportunities
