Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research to support appellate work.
• Draft, review, and edit legal briefs, motions, and coverage opinions.
• Assist in preparing and filing documents with courts at both the state and federal levels.
• Provide strong organizational support in managing ongoing legal cases.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to strategize on legal matters.
• Stay up-to-date with legal trends, case law, and applicable statutes.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in legal research and appellate work.
• Strong research and writing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Experience preparing legal documents, including motions, briefs, and opinions.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• An active Nebraska or Iowa Bar license is required.
