Equifax is seeking a strong DevOps Engineer experienced with Centralized Logging implementing ELK stack in private cloud and public cloud AWS. The incumbent will partner with our engineering team to build our next generation platform using cloud technologies. The ideal candidate is an individual who thrives on new challenges, possesses a strong development and infrastructure automation background, and has the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Automate build\/deployment, software configuration, continuous integration\/continuous delivery, and release engineering related tasks in AWS Build and maintain Elk Stack; setup Alerts and Monitors using ELK platform Create Metrics from log-based data aggregation Support Linux\/UNIX system administration, both physical and virtual systems; Linux troubleshooting, including networking, file systems, security, and the kernel Create Kibana dashboards based on business and operational requirements Create custom documentation for end-users on using ELK Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Chef and Ansible Monitor and set up alerts for Cloud components Support and ensure Cloud migration (AWS) in hybrid Cloud environment Automate manual processes using Python, Ruby, Unix Shell (bash, ksh), perl, etc. Use Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis on use cases such as in connecting to stream data sources, lambda functions, microservices architectures Define logging and monitoring best practices Design and implement containers for applications in scalable HA\/DR multi-tier cloud environments \u00a0 EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelors of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent) 5 years' experience in the following: Hands on technical expertise in implementing Centralized logging using ELK stack Elastic Search - Product knowledge, evaluation, architectural design and end-end implementation Using LogStash Grok filters, and Xpack features of ELK Building and maintaining an ELK Stack Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis on use cases such as in connecting to stream data sources, lambda functions, microservices architectures Creating Kibana dashboards based on business and operational requirements Implementation using CI\/CD pipelines Creating custom documentation for end-users on using ELK Public cloud AWS, leveraging but not limited to EC2, ECS, ECR, ELB, Bean Stalk, S3, ALB, API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Security Groups, etc. DevOps with AWS CLI, Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Maven Linux troubleshooting, including networking, file systems, security, and the kernel Monitoring and setting up alerts for Cloud components Linux\/UNIX system administration, both physical and virtual systems Container technologies like Docker, Docker Swarm, etc. Strong Automation, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow through to completion Strong verbal\/written communication skills Full time
