Senior Associate, Transaction Advisory Services
The candidate within Transaction Advisory Services practice, will offer technology due diligence, M&A analytics, data hosting and mining, dashboard reporting, and technical expertise to the firm. Work on buy /sell-side tax due diligence engagements. Design and implement data architecture and data governance solutions. Ability to lead, design and guide technical direction for data and analytics architecture and develop a roadmap to fit the overall strategic architecture. Experience in design, implementation of data architecture and strategies dealing with multiple data sources and formats in a distributed and clustered environment. Develop testing methodology and implement best practices in training and adoption of modern analytics platform. Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets in order to identify trends and patterns. Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct. Contribute to the report-writing process. Analyze cyclicality of target’s business and working capital trends. Investigate contingent liabilities, off-balance sheet items and related party transactions. Analyze quality of earnings and non-recurring items. Review target company's accounting policies for proper application of GAAP. Participate in discussions held with Management to determine data analytic needs, data requests and potential impacts on the buy-side/sell-side diligence process, as well as prospective on-going projects.
