Client Development Manager - Litigation

The candidate will assist in managing multiple competing priorities within a matrix environment and establish solid working relationships with diverse personalities across multiple offices. Working with the Senior Client Development Manager to develop and implement client development, marketing, and communications plans. Meeting with practice group leaders on a frequent basis. Creating and monitoring client development programs, including cross-selling initiatives. Managing the development of client-specific presentations, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses as well as other client-facing materials. Managing the development of all practice-related collateral for general use in print and on the firm's website. Supporting senior manager to onboard new laterals joining the practice group. Developing story placement ideas for the media relations team and identifying speaker placement opportunities. Tracking completed matter details and managing practice submissions for directories, databases, and other publications as needed. Identifying opportunities for sponsorships and other brand-building opportunities. Coordinating practice-related events and sponsorships. Should have Bachelor’s degree; 8-10 years of experience, preferably with an AmLaw 100 or professional services firm, in business development or marketing role; strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to meet multiple and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment; exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; ability to work with individuals at all levels across the firm, and to work well in a team environment, collaborating effectively with team members with varying perspectives; strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Experience working with Private Equity and Investment Banking industries preferred.
