San Antonio office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a defense litigation associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience in defense litigation, preferably with a focus on insurance defense litigation. The candidate will conduct legal research and analysis on defense litigation cases, including drafting legal briefs, motions, pleadings, and other relevant documents. Will assist in the preparation of discovery requests, responses, and motions. Manage and participate in all aspects of the litigation process, including conducting depositions, attending hearings, and representing clients in court proceedings. Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and provide recommendations. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process. Conduct factual investigations, interview witnesses, and gather evidence to support defense strategies. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to ensure effective defense representation. Maintain accurate and organized case files, including electronic documents and correspondence. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in accordance with the legal profession's code of conduct. Must have Admission to the State Bar and in good standing. Strong knowledge of civil procedure and rules of evidence is required.
