Clinic Assistant
The intern will be placed in the General Legal Clinic. Will open and close the legal clinic site, answer questions clients may have regarding intake paperwork, and send clinic reports to staff. May also provide limited research for volunteer attorneys to help provide clients with resource and referral information. Law students are considered. Should commit to one clinic shift (typically 2.5 hours) every 6-8 weeks for at least one year. Multilingual (primarily Spanish speaking) skills are preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills are needed. Should have ability to work with clients from diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds.
