Job Title: Junior to Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A prominent law firm located in Dallas, TX, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Structured Finance team. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in derivatives and structured finance, including familiarity with ISDA documentation, Dodd-Frank protocols, and related regulatory matters. The position offers a hybrid work model and the opportunity to contribute to sophisticated transactional work in a collaborative legal environment.

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate documentation under the ISDA Master Agreement, including:

  • Schedule

  • Credit Support Annex

  • Confirmations and related documents

• Advise on compliance with ISDA Dodd-Frank and similar regulatory protocols

• Handle a variety of structured finance matters with direct client interaction

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex financial instruments

• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups and office locations

• Maintain a high standard of responsiveness and turnaround on client deliverables

• Support internal knowledge-sharing and mentoring efforts as needed

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in structured finance and derivatives

• Experience with over-the-counter derivatives and ISDA-based documentation

• Prior work at an Am Law 100 or similarly structured law firm preferred

• Ability to manage multiple transactions under tight timelines

• Strong writing and analytical skills with a focus on detail and clarity

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas (or eligibility to waive in)
