Title:Culinary Field Operations (Minneapolis, MN)Job Description:
We are currently looking for a full-time Culinary Ambassador for Red Lobster. The scope of the Culinary Ambassador position is to drive food execution at the restaurant level. The Culinary Ambassador must be a subject matter expert in, food preparation, food quality and recipe adherence for Red Lobster. In addition, they need to be able to provide objective feedback on execution at the restaurant level for Quality Service and Excellence. Travel requirement is 90% of the time, working weekends and night shifts.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Learns and maintains Core Menu Recipe knowledge to enable training, coaching and redirection
Participates in the menu updates, rollout of new menu items to ensure consistent execution at the restaurant level
Develops and maintains rapport with operation leaders to help support the delivery of all culinary training to the cluster
Reports to operations leadership on execution and any food related issues
Analyzes hot spot restaurants with execution issues, conducts onsite visit and evaluation of issues and redirects with an improvement plan
Analyzes Black Box sentiment data, identifies trends and partners with operations to immediately address gaps in execution
Evaluate procedural issues causing inconsistencies with delivery of high-quality food to guests and partners to improve
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Three to four years of culinary related experience in casual dining sector
Ability to produce an excellent culinary and restaurant experience for guests
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management, scheduling, managerial, and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a variety of personalities and under pressure.
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends and to travel as throughout assigned
Ability to function efficiently and utilize good time management skills in a fast paced and demanding work environment.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office products
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Preferred Education and Experience:
Culinary Degree
Food innovator
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and preparing and cooking food
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
Must be able to work in a kitchen environment
