Description

Humana is seeking a Hardware Asset Management Lead who is smart, curious and loves the challenge of solving problems and ensuring accurate and timely asset information in support of our internal customer's. In this role, you will collaborate with a fun and close-knit IT Asset team to deliver on the IT Hardware Asset Strategy.

Responsibilities

The Hardware Asset Management (HAM) lead is responsible for the overall success of the HAM Program; including -

Developing and maintaining processes, policies, standards, systems and measurements that help the organization to effectively manage Humana's IT hardware asset portfolio (technology-related hardware) with regards to cost, control, risk, compliance, business performance objectives, and IT Governance as established by the company.

Ensuring quality control throughout the lifecycle of all company IT hardware assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage them.

As needed, performs daily and long-term operational and strategic management of IT hardware assets

Identifies Process Improvements to the HAM Program and guides/develops required implementations; including

Improvements/enhancements to AMI Asset track

Improvements/enhancements to HAM processes utilizing ServiceNow

MS Access databases used to pre-process data (ASN's, requested imports, etc.)

Provides day-to-day guidance and assistance to team members as needed

Manages and leads stakeholder discussions to communicate the state of the HAM program to the enterprise.

Partners with other IT Asset Management leads to mature the overall IT Asset Management Organization

Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision

Required qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

IAITAM Certification or equivalent related certification

7 years Hardware Asset Management experience

2-5 years of managing a team

Excellent Written and Verbal Communications Skills

Experience with Strategy Development, Policy, Metrics and Governance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the ServiceNow Asset Management module or ServiceNow HAMPro
