Summary The Graphic Designer will assist the Creative Marketing Manager and Marketing team by creating high-quality print and digital design solutions for various projects. Designer will work on producing materials in support of various projects, including sales collateral, corporate identity, tradeshow exhibits, websites etc., and will work closely with marketing managers, copywriters, and sales team. The Graphic Designer works under the supervision of the Creative Marketing Manager, Education. This position operates with moderate supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer include the following. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
Design and produce print and digital materials to support CBORD and Horizon marketing initiatives Design and/or facilitate the development of other marketing, sales, HR and corporate identity collateral Work with a range of media, including (but not limited to) web, print, interactive, sales presentations Create new or make revisions to existing layouts and artwork using the latest Adobe Creative Suite applications Work with in-house Production Coordinator in facilitating the production/printing process Inspect proofs for accuracy and adherence to appropriate production standards Provide technical advice and guidance on design and technical graphics issues Participate in creative team brainstorming on a project basis Support social media and e-mail marketing campaign efforts Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor or Associates degree in graphic arts or a related field preferred Digital portfolio required
Entry level position, 0-3 years of experience in graphic design or related field Recent graduates encouraged to apply
Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design Demonstrated graphic design talent Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in the latest Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Video editing skill with Premiere or Camtasia and experience with WordPress or Webflow are pluses. Working knowledge of the principles and techniques of print and digital media production Ability to develop and adhere to corporate design standards Ability to work well in a team environment Ability to adhere to strict deadlines Must possess strong interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a “can-do” attitude Ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail Competency with Microsoft Office Suite in a PC environment Work Environment and Physical Demands
