Debt Finance Associate

The candidate should be original thinkers, possess the drive to achieve results for our clients, and have the capacity to assume increasing responsibility in a highly successful international law firm. The candidate must have the ability to function smoothly in a team environment with culturally diverse team members. Must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the New York Bar. Substantive experience with a wide range of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring and reorganizations and general corporate finance matters. Prior experience as a key member of deal teams is preferred, including having taken responsibility for running signings and closings, taking "the pen" on first drafts of debt commitment papers and credit documentation, etc. Exposure to direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings and/or private equity-related corporate finance transactions is helpful.
