Profile

All applicants must submit a cover letter and resume.

Must have 2 plus years Family Law experience.

Admitted to the Michigan Bar.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Draft legal memorandum, pleadings, motions and correspondence to clients and counsel.

Conduct legal research.

Draft discovery, including interrogatories, Request for Production of Documents and Request for Admissions.

Prepare written responses to discovery.

Prepare subpoenas.

Conduct and and all other discovery as necessary.

Conduct witness interviews.

Trial preparation, including drafting of direct and cross examinations and witness preparation.

Prepare trial notebooks.

Prepare deposition outlines and exhibit notebooks.

Conduct and defend depositions.

Court appearances for motions, hearings and trials, and attend ADR and mediation.

Assist Principal Attorney with additional tasks on client matters as necessary.
