Duties for GS-07: The candidate performs developmental assignments in support of projects assigned to higher-level analysts. Participates in special initiatives, studies, and projects. Identifies sources of data and performs data acquisition and reduction. Prepares correspondence and other documentation.

Duties for GS-09: Participates in special initiatives, studies, and projects. Performs general operations research assignments for portions of a project or study consisting of a series of interrelated tasks or problems. Independently performs recurring assignments of limited difficulty and complexity in support of projects assigned to higher-graded analysts. Prepares correspondence and other documentation.
