Senior Intelligence Analyst / Opportunity Analyst Synthesist Designer
Duties: Provides analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes. Apply in-depth intelligence analytic expertise to research and assemble intelligence and all-source threat information, blue/green information, relevant non-threat data (markets, futures, non-intelligence scientific and engineering facts, etc.) with an eye towards creation of opportunities for proactive operations to be conceived during that actual OA event. Identify / inventory CWMD plans, strategies, programs, capabilities, activities, and operations of DoD, interagency, and partner nation organizations that have bearing on the OA topic. Develop integrated visualizations of all-source information into Information Support Packages (ISPs) which are then iteratively shaped and curated to fulfill, inform or revise an OA design, and ultimately directly supports the OA execution. Integrate and operationalize IT tools to facilitate interagency data sharing and collaboration on key WMD-related issues. Work closely with DTRA/JD irregular warfare analysts to conduct multi-layered, multi-intelligence research and analysis in cooperation with subject matter experts, intelligence analysts to define and assess patterns of People, Places, Things and Networks (PPTN) activities for further illumination, potential exploitation, and the development of opportunities. Discover key correlations allowing the design of vignettes to be used during the OA event. Coordinate with IT specialists to integrate visualizations of all-source information that help to illuminate key nodes in WMD procurement/development pathways. Participate in, or when appropriate, lead engagements with USG and international partners and stakeholders to gain first-hand knowledge of stakeholder activities and enblers having bearing on the OA topic. Participate in the preparation and execution of formal and information briefings, including performing as a lead briefer, when appropriate. Organizat resulting OA concepts into themes and sequences to form executiable options. Research and mature sequences into viable decision-ready Operations, Activities and Investments (OAI), to support executable options, or shore up gaps in otherwise vialbe sequences. Coordinate with SMEs to develop prioritized lists of R&D implications. Coordinate with the Combatant Command and other stakeholders to identify non-material gaps, such as policy, access, information shortfalls, etc., to compel resolution.
