Deloitte Consulting can help clients respond to market forces and maximize their possibilities by addressing these and other challenges in today's complex environment.

Work you’ll do

Work with our clients to gather requirements, document solution design, configure the Salesforce and Veeva application, and ensure successful engagements and project go-lives through disciplined project management.

Interact directly with our customers and the Deloitte team, including consultants, architects and sales to ensure customer success

Design customized solutions, which map to the SFDC toolset to satisfy client business requirements

Execute declarative Salesforce and Veeva application configuration support, the initial scope is to make specific CTMS configuration updates / integrations. Longer term, ongoing support for system maintenance and upgrades

Develop custom components, triggers, and pages using APEX and Visualforce

Perform data migration using Salesforce.com Data Loader

Design of security model using permission sets / profiles

Use Force.com IDE to deploy and migrate applications

Build and manage dashboards, views and reports

Integrate application with third party systems

Qualifications

3 years of experience with custom Salesforce.com development including APEX language, Visualforce, creating Lighting Components, etc.

Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, relational database principles, and operating systems

Development experience with JSP/ ASP, Java, HTML language is required

Veeva Vault-experience

Experience as a Business Administrator on Veeva Vault Clinical or Vault eTMF.

Solid understanding of Clinical operations in specific Clinical trial management process and procedures.

Ability to develop java SDK for Veeva.

Ability to integrate Veeva vaults.

Experience working in both agile methodology

Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude

Ability to work in a team environment

Be highly driven and able to self-manage in a fast-paced environment

Be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

Bachelor's Degree is required.

Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

In addition, successful Senior Consultants will also have the following preferred skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technical or related program

Salesforce Platform Developer II and/or Community Cloud Certified

Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Eagerness to mentor junior staff.

Demonstrated passion & aptitude in technology and an understanding of how to apply existing or new innovative technology solutions to core Life Sciences R&D processes. Understanding or experience with core elements of drug research and/or drug development.
