Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist I

The candidate will review court docket and case information via electronic case monitoring to promptly determine when attorney action is required and refer to local counsel as necessary. Payment Delinquency tracking. Respond to routing inquiries from clients, attorneys, vendors, and internal departments regarding files assigned. Review, analyst, and take appropriate action on all mail relevant to client and assigned files. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors, and debtor’s attorneys. Close files appropriately and timely. Perform other duties as assigned. Review NDC and Trustee websites to determine status of Claims. Review Plans to determine treatment. Excellent oral, written and communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels are needed. Strong organizational and time management skills are required. Should have the ability to manage priorities and workflow in a high-volume production environment. A High school diploma with 3-5 years of verifiable work experience required (will consider bachelor’s degree in lieu of work experience). Should have 1+ years of Consumer Bankruptcy or Consumer Lending Experience.
