Senior Corporate Counsel –Immigration Law
The candidate will be an integral part of the Firms Legal Team and primarily responsible for all immigration-related inquiries to support Firms immigration practices and policies. This includes partnering with and advising stakeholders, including an international Global Immigration team, human resources, and senior management, on all aspects of an employee’s immigration journey and the corporation’s immigration strategy. A key function of the role will be resolving complex legal issues, developing and implementing strategic solutions, and related risk management. Also assist in monitoring the corporation’s compliance with immigration law and regulations, continuously strengthening compliance practices, and overseeing internal auditing and reporting. In addition to day-to-day immigration counseling, would manage external counsel on immigration-related matters, partner with government affairs on immigration policy initiatives, and overall serve as the go-to U.S. immigration subject matter expert and partner.
