Attorney I/II/III

The candidate will work in OGC including advice to and representation of the State Bar Board of Trustees, committees and staff in administrative and civil trial and appellate litigation and transactional work in substantive areas such as Bar discipline and admissions; diversity and access to justice initiatives; labor and employment; intellectual property; bankruptcy; real estate; contracts; privacy; ethics; regulatory and legislative work; governance; public records and open meeting laws; and, general corporate matters. OGC also reviews closures of disciplinary complaints filed against attorneys but does not handle attorney discipline proceedings in State Bar Court. Active membership in the State Bar of California and no professional disciplinary record in California or any other jurisdiction is required.
