Humana is pioneering an initiative to modernize and transform member administration platform and adjacent enterprise capabilities with a goal to enable seamless consumer experience and drive profitable membership growth across diverse business lines. This will involve a multi-year technology strategy that will focus on identifying the right technical stack, designing and implementing a cutting edge scalable data intensive member administration platform & integrating all the components to deliver cohesive member administration capabilities.

The Lead Cloud Architect role provides an opportunity to be a part of this transformative journey within Humana to build a best in class member administration platform leveraging cloud first strategy and agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

The Lead Cloud Architect designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Lead Cloud Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Humana is seeking a Lead Cloud Architect that possesses the following skills and qualities:

Experience in architecting solutions in public cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure & Oracle Cloud.

This role will involve using appropriate cloud services, SaaS solutions, technologies, tools, methodologies and solutions to make sure that the architecture is robust, resilient, integrated and aligned with the strategy and long-term objectives of the organization.

Work closely with the Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture teams & vendors to ensure that a coherent & consistent approach to design & integration is realized.

Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.

Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings.

This role will need deep expertise in Workflow & Rules engineering design & solutioning

Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications.

Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Knowledge of /past experience with interoperability platform.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

3 or more experience as an Architect/ Lead in large IT projects

Experience in working with Oracle product suite

Data Architecture knowledge (preferred)

Experience in Java Script & JS framework

Experience with relational & NoSql DB

Experience with SOA, APIs & micro-services

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Cloud experience is a plus
