Practice Training Coordinator (International Trade)
Duties: The candidate will regularly with practice supervisors to assess training needs, content, and individual development needs, collaborating with Legal Talent where appropriate. Integrate new attorneys and staff by providing practice group-specific training, resources, manuals, and other documentation. Work with practice SMEs to develop and provide training and daily support on Document formatting and preparation, primarily using MS Word and Acrobat Professional. Cite-checking/ formatting. APO compliance. Docket/file management. Daily schedule/ deadline compliance, Filing requirements, and e-filing submission at the Department of Commerce (DOC/ACCESS), International Trade Commission (ITC/EDIS), Court of International Trade (CIT/PACER), the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC/PACER NextGen), and other jurisdictions relevant to the practice (CBP/EAPA, NAFTA/USMCA). Support Practice Manager and Practice Coordinator in the development of new training, maintaining currency of existing training, skills checklists/development timeline, organization of documentation, job aids, and other materials on the practice intranet page, and tracking training materials (including location and revision/review dates). Assist Practice Coordinator with oversight of quality control of filings, exhibits, and projects, including compliance with deadlines, and provide front-line support for staff questions as needed. Diligently adhere to administrative protective order (APO) requirements, ensure proper redactions of business proprietary information (BPI), and follow internal protocols for safe handling of documents. Regularly interact directly in a professional manner with practice members and develop strong working relationships. Identify opportunities for efficiency through the utilization of technology; assist with the development of such solutions where appropriate, and once developed, embed best practices within the group. Develop the ability to prepare and file documents in urgent or high-volume situations and provide support for other practice efforts as needed
