Project Information:
Become a part of a team working on a cutting edge application in the insurance industry. You will have the opportunity to work on a program that will deliver a strategic underwriting system, a policy administration system for underwriting.
You can join as a Senior Level Developer or as Lead Developer; there are multiple opportunities for both positions.
For Both Positions, Experience with the Following Technologies is REQUIRED:
Java
J2EE
Spring Core (Strong Spring experience)
Hibernate
WebServices (SOAP or REST)
AJAX
Experience producing complex UML diagrams (including class and sequence diagrams) Candidates need to be able to create and describe why they did what they did
Agile Development Methodology
Technologies/Experience that will be a plus:
extJS
JQuery
Websphere
JProfiler
Experience in the Insurance Industry
Responsibilities:
As a Lead, along with the required technologies, you will be responsible for/need experience with the following:
Expert level Java Programming experience
Leading a team of hybrid on-shore/off-shore developers
Will need to work with Business Analysts to help analyze technical requirements and help distribute tasks to the team
Experience leading a team of 4 developers
