Description
We are looking for a leader to help deliver world-class eCommerce strategies and experiences to our Pharmacy customers. In this role, your mission will be to accelerate the impact our eCommerce marketing strategies have on driving growth. This role serves as a key consultant and team leader who will bring outside-in-thinking to our marketing strategies and business partners to elevate the customer lifecycle and improve healthcare experiences. The role will report directly to the Vice President of Pharmacy & Group Marketing and Communications, and can be based anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities
The eCommerce Strategy Advancement Principal will play a leadership-level consultant role on the Pharmacy Marketing team. It will create and drive specialized eCommerce marketing strategies in support of the Pharmacy line of business and serve as a visible thought leader in the industry.
This role will lead development of eCommerce-driven growth marketing campaign strategies. In collaboration with the cross-functional marketing teams (Digital Transformation & Experience, Direct to Consumer and Physician Marketing) and business teams (e.g. Digital, Growth and Operations), this role will translate eCommerce best practices into strategies that deliver directly attributable to pharmacy prescription and revenue volume. Additionally, this role will:
Serve as primary expert for bringing an outside-in eCommerce perspective into Pharmacy Marketing and will be responsible for sharing the insights from leading experience-design companies into the Pharmacy marketing and business organizations.
Help design and activate eCommerce marketing experiences to maximize sales through acquisition/retention and deliver more efficient processes that help with key growth elements.
Own the design of and influence the execution of end-to-end eCommerce experiences for new sales, operations and other targeting tactics of our key audiences.
Lead eCommerce thought leadership to help position our Pharmacy more strongly as an innovator with key stakeholders.
Be measured on outcomes tied to eCommerce campaign-based sales, retention and engagement metrics.
Influence cross-functional teams to conceptualize and oversee the development of marketing strategies that connect the eCommerce, marketing and business worlds.
Key Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will own specialized eCommerce experience-design knowledge from a world-class leader in eCommerce strategy. They will be a creative thinker with a high level of business acumen. Must have a proven record of successfully developing and implementing eCommerce strategies to achieve business results in a rapidly growing, highly entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate must have experience negotiating across distinct priorities of cross-functional decision makers to drive ideas from concept to execution.
In addition, the following qualifications and attributes are sought:
Record of success designing and leading large-scale eCommerce strategies and campaigns - ideally in support of consumer experience
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability of managing and prioritizing diverse sets of initiatives
The polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences
Expertise in developing and successfully activating eCommerce strategies, with a hands-on approach to execution
Role Essentials:
Deep knowledge of specialized, eCommerce insights from a Fortune 500 company or other company instantly recognizable as a leader in eCommerce and experience design
Master's Degree of Business Administration or 5 years equivalent experience, strongly desired
A thorough understanding of business, marketing strategy, digital marketing, and product and content marketing
Outstanding, demonstrated ability to influence decision makers and hold cross-functional teams accountable for delivering requirements
Strong, demonstrated skills measuring marketing campaigns and developing insights from analysis
Strong, demonstrated strategic skills and consulting skills
The successful candidate will be an action-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills, who is thorough and demonstrates a lot of initiative and follow-through. This team player must be flexible, enthusiastic and demonstrate a willingness to learn
