Description

The Project Management Representative 2 manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Management Representative 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

Responsibilities

The Project Management Representative 2 manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Management Representative 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

The PM2 writes user stories that represent clear business value to the user/owner of the solution and should be written in appropriate language. Stories should be clear enough to estimate (for the appropriate timeframe), without being too detailed and easily executable.

The PM2 identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the projects. Prepares designs and work specifications; develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project. Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Key Accountabilities -


Project Definition and Planning: Use interview skills, critical thinking, and general business knowledge to establish and document project tasks and timelines. Communicate with leaders and key associates to understand the needs and perspectives of stakeholders. Develop a task-level project playbook and timeline for execution. Use agile methodology to iteratively and incrementally complete tasks and projects.
ServiceNow (PPM Tool) Administration : Manages the day-to-day administration of ServiceNow based on the needs of the organization, which includes, but is not limited to: Incident reporting and tracking, request processing, problem solving and change management of the PPM tool. Transparently reports and escalates status, issues, and barriers with the ServiceNow PPM Tool.
Project Execution: Leads cross-functional teams in preparing and develops project schedules. Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project schedule. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and monitors progress and performance against the project plan. Deliver agile projects that provide exceptional business value.


Required Qualifications


Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. Citizenship
Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)
1 - 2 years of Project management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple assignment simultaneously
Ability to successfully interface with diverse personalities
Detailed oriented
Drive complex schedule in a matrix environment
Extremely organized with strong follow up skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Experience with Service Now
PMP or other Project Management certification
Bachelor's degree
Federal Government Contract experience


Work at Home/Remote Requirements

Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings

Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
