As a member of the platform engineering team you will work with an experienced team of developers and infrastructure architects. The DevOps engineering role touches all aspects of our multiple application stacks, and keeps them running smoothly on our fully orchestrated and auto-scaling Amazon Web Services infrastructure.  If you are interested in working on large-scale cloud infrastructure in a fast-paced environment, then we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Enhance and maintain infrastructure for image rendering, search, content, and commerce functionality
Develop tools to automate and integrate new code into multiple environments across multiple applications so that developers can integrate services quickly and easily
Integrate tools for monitoring production application stacks
Respond to alerts and debug performance or other issues in the production application stacks
Work together with application developers and product managers as an integral member of the platform engineering team
Requirements:
5 years experience in either System Administration or Software Development
Strong experience and advanced knowledge of *nix operating systems, web servers, load balancers, caching layers, and optimizing web applications
2 years experience with Amazon Web Services EC2 and Jenkins build servers, or equivalent cloud-based virtual server and continuous integration technology
Some experience maintaining and scaling PostgreSQL, Couchbase, Redis, and/or ElasticSearch
