Job Summary
Effectv is looking for an experienced test professional to join our team that builds the next generation advertisement delivery platform. Your hands-on approach and innovative proficiency will have a significant impact on the QA effort for building and releasing the next generation products. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a real passion for a positive user experience; the ideal candidate will work as an integrated member of a cross-functional team, participating in the design and execution of QA strategies and methods. This position requires the hands-on ability to execute test plans, across multiple projects, ensuring all products under your responsibility meet business deadlines while upholding the highest levels of quality.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Understand software development life cycle models and their applications.
Understand core testing terminology (e.g. Expected Results, Expected Information).
Partner with business analysts and project managers for proper understanding the requirements and planning of proper test case coverage
Develop, and maintain test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.
Establish and maintain traceability of requirements through test cases.
Test system functions with real sample and simulated data sets
Conduct Functional and Integration tests to ensure full user acceptance of the integrated application and interfaces
Document and evaluate test results and defects
Review Defects/Issues with senior level test engineers and assign proper severity
Work with Development team and business to troubleshoot issues.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Job Specifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering/technical discipline
Overall 5 - 7 years related IT experience
5 years' QA experience in an IT environment with formal test tools and common software quality standards
Experience with SDLC (software development life cycle)
Experience with testing integrated systems and enterprise-level applications
Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Understanding of QA processes, practices and systems.
Experience executing and coordinating integration, system, regression and user-acceptance testing.
Demonstrated ability to work on concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints.
Demonstrated ability to work in team-based environments.
Experience performing API testing.
Experience in automating applications using Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Java, C#, Python and Junit.
Experience in integrating and running automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Experience in building complex SQL, PL/SQL queries to validate data in the data warehouse
Experience in REST APIs/ web services using SOAP UI, WINSCP, PUTTY, GEMS, XML Spy, POSTMAN, tools
Experience using Confluence Team Collaboration software a plus.
Knowledge of Video/Media platform technology a plus.
Experience testing applications built in Angular web application framework a plus.

National Pay Range: $59,913.35 USD-$134,805.04 USD
