Description
We are looking for a creative and inspired architect who has a strong understanding of technology infrastructure, development and business support. You'll collaborate with a fun and close-knit cross functional team during the design, implementation and delivery stage to continuously deliver new features and products to our customers. You will be responsible for reviewing design proposals to ensure operations excellence requirements are met and also supporting those changes in the production environment. You'll also have the opportunity to solve problems that may impact the customer experience.
The Senior Application Architect designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Senior Application Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Application Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities span all internal technology infrastructure, development and business support.
The role will be accountable for reviewing and identifying major Incidents, determining Severity and Impacts of Incidents, managing system recovery and customer remediation.
The individual is expected lead the technical troubleshooting calls of complex and highly visible technology incidents - ensuring maximum system availability, engaging the right teams and leaders from across the organization at the right time. Confirming and executing communication and escalation plans.
The role will be accountable for major event coordination(such as monthly releases) / planning and support, and continuous improvement, resiliency and stability efforts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
8 or more years' experience in application design , development or support.
Prior leadership or work-leadership experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
SRE or PSM experience
Application or solution architecture experience
Cloud experience / certifications
Project Management experience/certifications
Process Improvement experience
Automation experience
Previous significant work leadership or management experience
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Additional Information
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
