Maintenance Generalist MG01

Profile

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Repair and maintain all feed mill and related equipment to include pellet mills, hammer mills, air compressor, drag and screw conveyors, bucket elevators, feed batching system, boiler and all power transmission components. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Must be able to work in dusty, dirty and loud environment and in adverse weather conditions.

Must be willing to be on call. Must have valid unexpired driver’s license to drive company vehicle to pick up parts when needed. Must have basic computer knowledge. Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds. One year of maintenance experience required. Basic millwright skills, welding, torch burning, shop and field fabrication and rigging preferred.
