Membership and Marketing.
The Membership and Marketing Manager is responsible for helping to grow, maintain and communicate with a network of podiatry professionals and industry leaders. The manager is responsible for managing plans, programs, and services in support of TPMA. There is opportunity for the right person to make a positive impact in these areas.

Have experience in managing all aspects of membership, from developing membership marketing campaigns to running renewal billing to managing member data in the database.
Have marketing experience beyond digital/social media.
Have excellent written communication skills.
Have experience selling sponsorships, exhibits and advertising.
Enjoy interacting with members and volunteers.
Have a collaborative spirit and enjoy working with others on a project.
Are a good project manager and handle time and multiple tasks well.
Duties Related to Membership
To enhance the overall member experience and grow the membership, the Manager will:
Execute a membership plan as it relates to member retention.
Execute a membership plan as it relates to recruitment and identify recruitment opportunities at podiatry related events.
Serve as the primary point of contact for members and prospective members.
Serve as a staff liaison to the Membership and Communication Committees.
Assist, attend and interact with members at hosted events, including TPMA Annual Conference & Business Meeting, Southwest Foot & Ankle Conference, local marketing events and special programs.
Membership Renewals – Create monthly membership dues renewal invoices and process payments.
Maintain the membership database.
Produce and develop reports to facilitate targeted membership statistics, create list for committees, etc.
Duties Related to Marketing and Communications:
In conjunction with the TPMA staff, help develop, manage and execute marketing plans and materials for membership and events:
Maintain annual marketing plan/calendar for membership and assist in implementation of marketing efforts.
Assist with content and design of collateral material, including print and digital.
Organize and distribute communication content to members and industry sponsors via mailings, publications, electronic communication, website and social media channels.
Track and analyze marketing and communications activities and outreach efforts.
Create and sell advertising, sponsorships, and exhibit space.
Work with corporate partners on sponsorship packages.
Update association website.
Duties Related to Administrative Management:
Process and code all incoming payments.
Process conference registrations and prepare registration materials.
Answer phones.
Coordinate registration and provide on-site support for 2-3 annual conferences.
Maintain office equipment and order office supplies, as needed.
Responsible for processing and distributing incoming mail.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A minimum of a two-year degree required/ Bachelor’s degree preferred; industry experience may be substituted for education as appropriate.
At least four (4) years’ experience in a responsible office environment and demonstrated general office skills, preferably in an association.
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Association Management Software, Wordpress and design software. Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
At least two (2) years’ work experience with membership, marketing, written communication, graphic design and social media management.
Effective and friendly communicator, strong writing and editing skills, detail oriented, well-organized with ability to multi-task.
Ability to meet established deadlines.
Must be a self-starter and team player who works well with staff, members, and volunteers.
Availability to work some evenings and weekends. Travel requirements include a conference in June and in September, and maybe 1-2 other meetings in Texas.
This position receives direct supervision from the Executive Director and has authority necessary to perform all actions required of the job as described herein.
