Description
Come join one of Humana's most exciting teams! The Systems Engineer 2 is responsible for design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex systems software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering concepts and techniques. Systems engineering is a specialized area of engineering focused on software that operates/controls computer hardware and provides a platform for running end user applications. Includes operating systems, device drivers, utilities, and software. The Systems Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
Humana is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 that will:
Develop and/or modify systems software for use internally, conduct requirements gathering and analysis and support testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
Follow established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
3 years as a Systems Engineer in design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex systems software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering concepts and techniques
Experienced in Systems software engineering is a specialized area of engineering focused on software that operates/controls computer hardware and provides a platform for running/managing end user workstations/end points.
Experience including end point operating systems, device drivers, and utilities.
Experience with Cloud based printing solutions for enterprise wide use.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager and of task sequences.
Experience in delivery of configurations, applications, and drivers to Windows workstations.
Skill with PowerShell for the automation of OS and application configuration.
Experience with Microsoft Azure environments.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field
Some experience with Windows Autopilot and related technologies such as Desktop as a Service, Cloud provisioning, Intune, and Azure AD.
