SIG has a job opening for a Systems Administrator (Windows) to join our Server Provisioning team at our Bala Cynwyd headquarters, just outside of Center City Philadelphia. In this role, you will be responsible for executing processes related to server configuration as well as change and release management. You will develop and maintain chassis hardware and component configurations as specified by our development teams and verify business unit server requests for hardware and software. In addition, you will be responsible for the deployment of the server profiles with custom tools, and the final validation of the build results to sustain high quality and image consistency. Through collaboration with senior level systems administrators and provisioning coordinators, you will test and deploy physical and virtual Windows Server operating systems using Microsoft SCCM, the Deployment Toolkit, and in-house developed tools. As you administer the workflow related to the delivery, deployment and maintenance of our server infrastructure, you will also have the opportunity to offer suggestions to improve processes related to this effort. These suggestions may arise through your continuous review of provisioning workflows and/or through related audits or status reporting on server configuration and change management across the environment. The required hours for this role will be 11:00am to 8:00pm.

Essential Functions:
Execute processes related to server configuration, change and release management
Assist with the management of workflow processes for the firm’s server environment; provide suggestions for improvements to processes to ensure consistency and maximize efficiency
Perform server systems management audits and reconciliation using industry standard and in-house developed tools and procedures
Collaborate with team members to develop best practices and technical procedures and contribute ideas and suggestions in technical procedure development and improvement; provide feedback regarding operational effectiveness and efficiency
Maintain and enhance technical and process standard operating procedures (SOP) oriented documentation
Partner closely with Senior Systems Administrators and Provisioning Coordinators in the implementation and support of server maintenance
Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of server deployment process issues or errors; diagnose problems, recommend and implement solutions
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of related work experience required
Knowledge of Windows server-based operating systems, distributed, web, storage, telecommunication and development environments and processes required
Knowledge of Dell and HP server hardware
Strong communication and relationship development skills required
Demonstrated project management skills necessary; knowledge of ITIL and/or service delivery best practices a plus
Attention to detail as well as superior organizational and prioritization skills required
Ability to understand business strategies and relate them to technology initiatives required
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple teams/users to identify needs as well as develop and influence processes and process improvements required
Strong analysis and requirements definition skills preferred
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related technical discipline required; experience can substitute for education
