Job Description
Specific responsibilities include:
Responsible for Private Hire income and delivery, developing a sustainable and competitive offering for the House
Deliver Private Hire sales to meet or exceed ambitious financial targets for the year, ensuring a high-quality experience for all events
Work closely with colleagues in the Hospitality team to ensure events are well planned and effectively resourced and that clients leave happy
Ensure precise information is gathered from clients for dining pre-orders and that this information is shared with Hospitality team by agreed deadlines
Build great relationships with Private Hire clients to deliver repeat bookings where possible
Actively manage clients re: bookings to ensure they are buying a product we can smoothly deliver, not asking for the moon on a stick
Ensure that all Private Hire administration, including handling invoice requests, hire agreements, job sheets and event schedules are completed within set time frames and support the House to improve our processes where necessary
Ensure that all client tours are conducted in a timely and appropriate manner, working with other team members to show the House at its best
Support Head of Hospitality with daily, weekly, and monthly administrative tasks; including
Recording team hours and overtime
Invoices
Job sheet printing and updates
Linen ordering
End of the month stock input
Daily logbook input

Work with membership and club teams to ensure private hire income targets are balanced with member experience and mission
Ensure that staff across the House are briefed about room booking processes and informed about Private Hire events ahead of time
Support the management and development of the room booking calendar so all teams are clear what is happening when
Provide support to the membership and income Teams, helping deliver large public and special events and members programming where needed
Support the House Employment Academy and act as a professional buddy to an Employment Academy participant
Person Specification
Essential
Excellent communicator with a good degree of literacy and numeracy
Outstanding relationship management skills
Highly efficient, organised with a great deal of attention to detail
A strong multi-tasker, able to take on a wide range of activities
Excellent administrative skills including Microsoft packages
The ability to work effectively with a wide range of colleagues
Flexible and proactive - willing to work wherever needed
Excellent time-management skills
