The position is in Stavanger and local connection is preferred.

This position will be based in our Geophysical Seismic Interpretation department where our mission is to create cloud services around ourbest in classGeophysical Seismic Interpretation software. These services are part of the larger DELFI initiative from Schlumberger. Schlumberger has joined the opensourceits data ecosystem, which is part of the Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU).

We are looking for you if you want to take part in an exciting, dynamic and international team, working with cloud technologies based on Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. Ourfront-endsare written in Unity, Angular and back-ends on .NET Standard and deployed as KubernetesOurteam is empowered and responsible for developing, deploying, operating and keeping our services secure.

You should be comfortable working on both back-end and front-end tasks and collaborating with coworkers from all over the world both on-site and remote.

Essential responsibilities and duties:


Works with subject matter experts to clarify requirements
Turns requirements and user stories into functionality
Develops server-side services to be elastically scalable and secure by design. services shall be backward and forward compatible to ease deployment
Develops web front end to be usable on multiple form factors
Ensures the solution is deployable, operable and secure by default
Applies usability procedures and principles as defined at project or product-line level or through customer input.


Qualifications and competencies:


Bachelors (or equivalent industrial experiences) / Masters / PhD degree in science or engineering with software experience or education
Cloud experience, preferably with Azure, GCP or AWS
English fluent
Experience or interest infollowing: NET StandardKubernetesDockerDevSecOpsAzureGoogleCloudOpenSource
